Rho Theta System

1. Any electronic navigation system in which position is defined in terms
of distance, or radius ρ and bearing θ with respect to a transmitting station.
Also called an R-theta system.

2. Specifically, a polar coordinate navigation system providing
data with sufficient accuracy to permit the use of a computer which will provide
arbitrary course lines anywhere within the coverage area of the system.
