Astrodynamics
The practical application of
celestial mechanics,
astroballistics,
propulsion theory, and allied fields to the problem of planning
and directing the
trajectories of space vehicles.
Astrodynamics is sometimes used as a synonym for celestial mechanics.
This usage should be discouraged.
