Microwave Region

Commonly, that region of the radio spectrum between approximately 1000 megacycles and 300,000 megacycles. See frequency band. </dd>
Corresponding wavelengths are 30 centimeters to 1 millimeter. The limits of the microwave region are not clearly defined but in general it is considered to be the region in which radar operates. </dd>
