Atomic Mass
The
mass of a neutral atom of a
nuclide usually
expressed in atomic mass units. See
atomic weight,
mass number.
The atomic mass unit, amu, is exactly one-twelfth of the
mass of a neutral atom of the most abundant isotope of carbon,
C12=12.0000.
