Absorptance Absorbtance

The ratio of the radiant flux absorbed by a body to that incident
upon it. Also called
absorption factor. Compare
absorptivity.
Total absorptance refers to absorptance measured over
all wavelengths.
Spectral absorptance refers to absorptance
measured at a specified wavelength.
