Terrestrial Radiation

The total infrared radiation emitted from the earth's surface; to be carefully distinguished from effective terrestrial radiation, atmospheric radiation (which is sometimes erroneously used as a synonym for terrestrial radiation), and insolation. Also called earth radiation, eradiation. </dd>
