Boost

Boost
- Additional power, pressure, or force supplied by a booster, as hydraulic boost, or extra propulsion given a flying vehicle during lift-off, climb, or other part of its flight as with a booster engine.
- Boost pressure.
- To supercharge.
- To launch or to push along during a portion of flight, as to boost a ramjet to flight speed by means of a rocket, or a rocket boosted to altitude with another rocket.
